ExamsPrep is operated by ExamsPrep UK ("we", "us" or "our"). This policy explains what information we collect through the ExamsPrep website, checkout and learning application, why we use it, who may process it for us and the choices available to you.

1. Information we collect

Account and contact information

We collect information you provide when creating an account, purchasing access or contacting support, such as your name, email address and correspondence.

Payment information

Stripe processes payment-card information for us. We receive transaction identifiers, payment status and limited billing information, but we do not store full card details.

Learning and performance information

We record course access, answers, scores, timing, chapter performance, saved progress and related activity needed to provide mocks, explanations, analytics and recommendations.

Technical information

We may process IP address, device and browser information, referral data, security events and page interactions to operate, secure and improve the service.

2. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, complete purchases, provide course access, save results, generate study recommendations, respond to support requests, maintain records, prevent abuse and improve the service.

Where applicable, processing is based on performing our contract with you, complying with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting ExamsPrep, or your consent.

3. Performance recommendations and automation

ExamsPrep uses your answer and score history to identify weaker syllabus areas and recommend practice. These recommendations support your study decisions; they do not make legal, employment, credit or other similarly significant decisions about you.

4. Service providers and disclosures

We may share the minimum necessary information with providers that support payments, authentication, cloud hosting, course delivery, email, customer support, analytics and security. They may process information only for the contracted service and applicable legal requirements.

We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

5. International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we use UK adequacy regulations, the International Data Transfer Agreement or other appropriate contractual, organisational and technical safeguards.

6. Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes and protect the platform. Retention periods depend on the type of record and why it is held.

We use access controls, encryption in transit, provider security controls, monitoring and other proportionate measures. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your UK data-protection rights

Subject to the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection or portability where applicable. You may withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing and may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential storage for sign-in, security, checkout and course progress. Any optional analytics or marketing technologies should be controlled through the choices presented on the site where required.

9. Children

ExamsPrep is intended for professional exam candidates and is not directed to children under 18. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
